Etz Hadar is thrilled to introduce Rabbi Herschel Aberson, our rabbi and cantorial soloist for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur! Rabbi Aberson graduated from the Zeigler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2019 and served as rabbi at Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley in Arizona from 2019 - 2022. He tells us, "I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the High Holidays with the Etz Hadar community. May we all be written joyfully in the Book of Life this coming year of 5784."
Rabbi Aberson will be supported during services by Ritual Director Janice Yellon, as well as our talented community lay-leaders, gabbaim, and torah readers.
Our services lean traditional Conservative Judaism, but we love to experiment with new, innovative ways to enrich our souls during the holiday. We will be using Machzor Lev Shalem, bringing beautiful translations and thought-provoking commentary to your holiday experience.
For the full schedule of our 5784/2023 High Holy Day services, classes and events check your weekly email.
