We welcome your company

Your attendance at services is truly important to making a minyan.  Your participation at services and events is not only important to the Congregation, but we believe it can be rewarding to you as well.

Honey from the Heart Fundraiser - CEH thanks to past generous sponsorship has provided every congregational family unit a wonderful bottle of Kosher honey with blessings for the Jewish New Year. We are looking again for sponsors. If you are interested in sponsoring Honey from the Heart for 5777, please contact Marla Drake at marla@tabs-inc.com. Use the link http://orthoney.com/CEH to learn more about this wonderful fundraising and place your own personal order to bring greetings for the New Year to loved ones. We apologize that there were technical difficulties last year and while every congregant got their honey, we were not able to place personal orders. But there is no issue this year. The honey is $11 per bottle with free shipping when ordered by July 29 for delivery within the US by Sunday October 2. Erev Rosh Hashanah is the evening of October 2. There is a $4 per bottle shipping charge when ordered after July 29 and before September 8 with delivery still ensured by Erev Rosh Hashanah..

New Shabbat Siddur Fundraiser - Those who attended the Annual Meeting in June learned that we have invested in the Conservative Movement’s new Shabbat Siddur Lev Shalem. Donations are suggested at $36 per book (nets a personalized bookplate to commemorate your donation. Those interested in purchasing the new Siddur for personal use, the cost will be $48. Contact Gabbai Eric Mack at < a href="mailto:ericjmack@gmail.com">ericjmack@gmail.com for details. We have begun studying the new Siddur on Friday evenings while still using our usual books for prayers..

Interested in Conversation Hebrew Class? - We are gauging congregational interest in taking a conversational Hebrew class in concert with Reform congregation Temple Beth El in Riverside. The class would be taught on Sundays this fall if there is sufficient interest. If you want to be included in the discussion, please e-mail Jane Beitscher at jbeitscher@gmail.com..

Gift Shop - The CEH Gift Shop does not have regular hours, but you can make an appointment. Please call Renee Brounstein at 909-649-2744 or renee@fischman.org for an appointment or to place special orders for needed items..

Donate to the CEH Tree of Life
The Tree of Life has been mounted on the wall of our sanctuary.  The tree includes leaves of copper, silver, and gold, which are ready to help us celebrate the lives, special events, and memories of our families and friends.  We are happy to accept your order of engraved leaf or leaves as donations.  Please call Cheryl Schwartz at 951-845-9063 or Renee Brounstein at 909-649-2744 to place an order or to ask any questions you might have.  We will also be including those who have already purchased a leaf or an "orange" in our previous Tree of Life campaign
